5 Recipes You Can Make with Just a Toaster

A common misconception about toasters is that they can only be used for one thing…toasting bread. But believe it or not, this small kitchen appliance is actually extremely versatile. It can be used to make many things with ease!

The following five recipes are really the best thing since sliced bread (pun intended).

Pita Bread Pizzas

This is one of the easiest ways to make a pizza in only five minutes! Cut the top off of two pita slices and gently separate the two sides of the bread to create a pouch (this will keep all the fillings contained, and you’ll avoid having a mess to clean at the bottom of your toaster). Fill the pita pouch with tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil, and any other toppings of your choice, then pop it in the toaster, open side up. Toast on low for five minutes until the sides are crisp. Your Magimix Vision Toaster will allow you to see exactly when the sides of your pita bread pizza have turned golden brown and ready to enjoy!

Toasted Taco Shells

Can’t wait until Tuesday to get your taco fix? This toaster hack will allow you to make crispy taco shells any day of the week. Simply fold your favorite corn or flour tortilla in half and slide it into your toaster. In under five minutes, the tortilla will transform into a crisp hard taco shell ready for you to load up with all the makings of a great taco!

Sweet Potato Toast

Swap out bread with sweet potatoes! Wash your potato, cut it into ¼” slices and toast them on high twice to let both sides brown slightly. Once it’s toasted, all that’s left to do is load up your toast with your favorite toppings!

Bruschetta

Bruschetta is a simple and refreshing summertime snack. Slice a baguette at an angle ½” thick. Lightly brush the bread with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Toast as you would regular bread. (The Magimix Vision Toaster has an extra-lift lever that allows you to easily and safely lift out smaller pieces of bread, like baguettes.) Chop up some tomatoes, basil and any other toppings you’d like to combine with salt for the bruschetta topping.

Grilled Cheese

We bet you didn’t know you could make grilled cheese in a toaster! Line a sheet of foil with parchment paper before wrapping buttered bread and cheese and rolling the edges tightly.  Pop it in the toaster and toast until the cheese is melted.

Put your toaster to good use with these five easy recipes!
